“I just recently had my snowblower serviced by Rick. I have to say that whatever my expectations were, they were overwhelmingly exceeded. He was on time when he came to pick it up and drop it off. He sent me pictures and did a great job not only fixing it, but explaining what was wrong with it. You can also tell he takes pride in his work and wants the machines he works on to work well after he fixes them. He even went out of his way to give me a tutorial of sorts with really helpful tips and tricks to help me keep my snowblower from having any issues in the future. It seems like nowadays if you need a service, you never get what you pay for but Rick is the real deal, I would highly recommend him to anyone!!”

“Working with Rick was an amazing experience. I groom an Ice Rink in my backyard in the winter and I am a heavy snow blower user. I wore out the traction on my rig and called Rick on a Sunday morning and was amazed when he picked up the phone. “We just got our first big snowfall and my snowblower would not work. After shoveling through 9 inches of snow I started to look for a repair shop thinking I would be lucky if anyone would be able to fix my snowblower before January. I called Rick around 10:00 am on a Saturday. He came by and picked up my snowblower immediately. I had my snowblower back by 1:00 the same day. Rick is a lifesaver.
Not only was he fast, he was more interested in making sure I didn’t have the same issue again. Most repair shops wouldn’t do this hoping for future business. That is not how Rick operates.”

“Rick was courteous throughout my interaction with him. He did ask me to check the spring on the lawn mower when I called in the first time before dropping by. I saw the spring albeit the upper one when in fact it was the governor spring I think that I had to check. I wasnt even aware that this spring had come off the hook. Rick got the mower up and running with full power within minutes. Rick also helped me to load/unload my mower from my SUV. He was also gracious enough to let me know about TLCs when it comes to small engines. Lastly, he was kind enough to accept whatever I had in my wallet at that time with good faith. I would definitely recommend him.”

“Wow, Rick is a fantastic professional and I would highly recommend him. He responded immediately to my inquiry, walked me through the problem and even gave me instructions to try and solve the problem without bringing in my mower. He was exceptionally knowledgeable of my mower and the issue. He completed a tune up and then we discovered that my mower had an irreparable crack that was causing oil to leak. He elected not to charge me for the work he completed and then even recycled my mower for me. Rick goes way above and beyond and you wont be disappointed by selecting him for your repair.”

“I read the prior reviews and decided to go with this service. Was terribly disappointed. I called in the morning to inquire and I was told that my mower can be fixed and serviced. I was asked to call again before Dropping off. I called when I was almost at his address and was told that I should have called before leaving. I was supposed to follow his instructions exactly. The instruction was to bring my gas can along. I said I can go back home and come back with my gas can. Or I could drop off the mower and make another trip with the can. However he decided that I was not a good customer since I didnt follow his instructions exactly. Was immediately told to go someplace else in Eden Prairie. No effort to gain my business, no effort to be considerate that I drove 20 mins and loaded up a heavy lawnmower into my car to get this done. I struggle with service providers who impose their terms in harsh ways. I struggle with lack of understanding. Why is good customer service hard to find. I definitely dont recommend this service.”

“I left Rick a 5 star review 2 years ago but sadly, I have to change that to a 1 star.
Today my dad went to drop off my lawn mower to get fixed. Rick opened the garage door wearing a mask and proceeded to berate my father for not wearing one. They were 20 feet apart. My dad tried to tell Rick that he had one in his car and was happy to put it on but Rick continued to talk over him and said he didnt want to deal with him and shut his garage door. My dad put on a mask and rang the doorbell but no one answered.
Its too bad because he is a good small engine mechanic but his interactions with people leaves a lot of room for improvement! Its no wonder why he is having issues with his neighbors!
Here is my review from 2 years ago, Ill just leave it.
Rick is the best! I have been going to him for years, he is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job. Lost of great advice and he answers all of your questions. Thanks for the tune up Rick!!!”

“He refused to service my power washer. Craziest costumer experience ever. I talked to him the night before, and reviewed the work needed and prices. Drove to his house (works out of his garage) the following morning. He said that I needed to follow his instructions to make sure the machine did not break down again. I agreed, he proceeded to explain what fuel I needed to use. As I asked some question to clarify how to determine the correct fuel type, he mistook them as challenges, and asked me to leave. The conversation was very cordial, and I was enjoying it, right until he just asked to leave.
He seems knowledgeable, but hes like the soup nazi in Seinfeld episode. If you want him to service your machine, say yes to everything he says.

“Wow, Rick is a fantastic professional and I would highly recommend him. He responded immediately to my inquiry, walked me through the problem and even gave me instructions to try and solve the problem without bringing in my mower. He was exceptionally knowledgeable of my mower and the issue. He completed a tune up and then we discovered that my mower had an irreparable crack that was causing oil to leak. He elected not to charge me for the work he completed and then even recycled my mower for me. Rick goes way above and beyond and you wont be disappointed by selecting him for your repair.”

“I read the prior reviews and decided to go with this service. Was terribly disappointed. I called in the morning to inquire and I was told that my mower can be fixed and serviced. I was asked to call again before Dropping off. I called when I was almost at his address and was told that I should have called before leaving. I was supposed to follow his instructions exactly. The instruction was to bring my gas can along. I said I can go back home and come back with my gas can. Or I could drop off the mower and make another trip with the can. However he decided that I was not a good customer since I didnt follow his instructions exactly. Was immediately told to go someplace else in Eden Prairie. No effort to gain my business, no effort to be considerate that I drove 20 mins and loaded up a heavy lawnmower into my car to get this done. I struggle with service providers who impose their terms in harsh ways. I struggle with lack of understanding. Why is good customer service hard to find. I definitely dont recommend this service.”

“I left Rick a 5 star review 2 years ago but sadly, I have to change that to a 1 star.
Today my dad went to drop off my lawn mower to get fixed. Rick opened the garage door wearing a mask and proceeded to berate my father for not wearing one. They were 20 feet apart. My dad tried to tell Rick that he had one in his car and was happy to put it on but Rick continued to talk over him and said he didnt want to deal with him and shut his garage door. My dad put on a mask and rang the doorbell but no one answered.
Its too bad because he is a good small engine mechanic but his interactions with people leaves a lot of room for improvement! Its no wonder why he is having issues with his neighbors!
Here is my review from 2 years ago, Ill just leave it.
Rick is the best! I have been going to him for years, he is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job. Lost of great advice and he answers all of your questions. Thanks for the tune up Rick!!!”

“He refused to service my power washer. Craziest costumer experience ever. I talked to him the night before, and reviewed the work needed and prices. Drove to his house (works out of his garage) the following morning. He said that I needed to follow his instructions to make sure the machine did not break down again. I agreed, he proceeded to explain what fuel I needed to use. As I asked some question to clarify how to determine the correct fuel type, he mistook them as challenges, and asked me to leave. The conversation was very cordial, and I was enjoying it, right until he just asked to leave.
He seems knowledgeable, but hes like the soup nazi in Seinfeld episode. If you want him to service your machine, say yes to everything he says.
